Cell Phone Radiation Boosts Cancer Rates in Animals

U.S. Government Expected To Advise Public of Tumor Risk

Cell Phone Radiation Confirmed 5-25-16

The cell phone cancer controversy will never be the same again.

The U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) is expected to issue a public announcement that cell phone radiation presents a cancer risk for humans. The move comes soon after its recently completed study showed statistically significant increases in cancer among rats that had been exposed to GSM or CDMA signals for two-years.

Discussions are currently underway among federal agencies on how to inform the public about the new findings. NTP senior managers believe that these results should be released as soon as possible because just about everyone is exposed to wireless radiation all the time and therefore everyone is potentially at risk.

Why Nothing Ever Changes in EMF Safety & Regulations?

Posted on 28 February 2014 by admin, a world-leader in EMF news and information, added some new thoughts on the matter of why it seems new scientific data and breakthroughs in research seem to not have any response from the medical community, governments, regulators, and more. It seems apparent to most of the researchers (non-corporate involved researchers) directly involved in the studies see that there is a problem they are seeing with excessive amounts of Electromagnetic Frequencies/Fields that surrounds us all every day. Yet for many many years it all appears to be swept under the rug of denial and counter arguments with no end in site.

Industry Treads Water; Conflicts Abound

February 25, 2014

Five years ago we reported on what we thought was an important clue in the search for understanding the well-documented association between childhood leukemia and EMF exposure. A team based in Shanghai presented evidence that children carrying a genetic variation linked to DNA repair were four times more likely to develop leukemia than those without that genetic marker. We called the finding a “major breakthrough” and predicted, “It simply cannot be ignored.”

We were wrong. So wrong.

What happened next —or rather, what did not happen— sheds light on why EMF research treads water and never moves forward. No one followed-up, no one pleaded for a follow-up; practically no one even talked about it. We don’t believe this was an accident. Strong forces favored inaction (no, we aren’t paranoid). Stagnation helps empower critics to maintain that without a mechanism the EMF–childhood leukemia link is bogus. That Shanghai scientists offered a possible explanation in a peer-reviewed journal made no difference.

We decided take a close look at why and how this happens. Here we focus on what we thought would be a “breakthrough” research paper. Yet, this was another dead end.
See how industry stacks the deck with a helping hand from the anti-EMF establishment. Full Article Here!

Sunspots Go Wild! X-Class Solar Flares are heading to Earth

Posted on 08 January 2014 by admin

A false-color composite image from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory shows a blast of activity originating from an active sunspot region at the center of the sun’s disk on Tuesday.

The sun erupted with a powerful solar flare on Tuesday, disrupting radio traffic and sending a blast of electrically charged particles our way. And there may be more blasts to come.

The X1.2-class flare was recorded by sun-observing satellites, including NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, at about 2:32 p.m. ET. X-class flares are the strongest category of solar outbursts, although X1.2 is toward the category’s low end. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center said the flare sparked a strong radio blackout.

For days, space weather forecasters have been bracing themselves for solar eruptions from a large active sunspot region called AR1944. This region has now turned to face Earth directly, which means strong solar flares are likely to send storms of charged particles — also known as coronal mass ejections, or CMEs — heading straight for us.

These heat maps reveal where we feel love, anger, shame & sadness on our bodies

Posted on 08 January 2014 by admin

A team of Finnish researchers have created heat maps to show how emotions effect our biochemistry by heat output throughout the body. At different stages of everyday life you may be more susceptible to EMF sources than others. We know that while sleeping the body needs to be protected from EMF’s to help repair the daily damages in the body. Now there is information to use showing that during different emotions the impact of EMF’s may have varying levels of opportunity to do more or less damage while happy or sad. This can be applied to understanding how individuals are able to combat or be negatively affected at this times of stress or joy.

Scientists have conclusively proven that love gives you the warm fuzzies and sadness makes you feel blue.

A team of Finnish researchers have created heat maps of where and how emotions are experienced on the human body. The goal of the study was to find out if there is a consistent connection, across various demographic groups and geographical regions, between what we feel and the physical sensation of that feeling.

“Even though we are often consciously aware of our current emotional state, such as anger or happiness, the mechanisms giving rise to these subjective sensations have remained unresolved. Here we used a topographical self-report tool to reveal that different emotional states are associated with topographically distinct and culturally universal bodily sensations; these sensations could underlie our conscious emotional experiences,” the findings said.

The study asked 773 participants to color bodily regions where they felt activity increasing or decreasing while viewing stimulus, such as emotional words, stories, movies, or facial expression. They were prompted with six “basic” emotions and seven “complex” emotions, as well as a neutral state.

Sun ‘flips upside down’ – Reverses Magnetic Field

Posted on 31 December 2013 by admin

solarstormshitearthemf2The sun has undergone a “complete field reversal,” with its north and south poles changing places as it marks the midpoint of Solar Cycle 24.

“A reversal of the sun’s magnetic field is, literally, a big event,” NASA’s Dr. Tony Phillips said in a statement issued on the space agency’s website.

“The sun’s polar magnetic fields weaken, go to zero and then emerge again with the opposite polarity. This is a regular part of the solar cycle,” Stanford solar physicist Phil Scherrer explained.

While it may seem like the event could have catastrophic repercussions for the galaxy, its effects are actually more subtle, mostly interfering with space exploration.

“Cosmic rays are a danger to astronauts and space probes, and some researchers say they might affect the cloudiness and climate of Earth,” said Phillips.

Both the aurora borealis and its southern counterpart – the australis – are set to become broader, more frequent, and more visible now that the event has reached its final stage.

RNA Interference: Another Bio-mechanism Affected By EMF’s

Posted on 01 November 2013 by admin

RNA-InterferenceWhat is RNA Interference?

RNA interference (RNAi) also called post transcriptional gene silencing (PTGS), is a biological process in which RNA molecules inhibit gene expression, typically by causing the destruction of specific mRNA molecules. Historically, it was known by other names, including co-suppressionpost transcriptional gene silencing (PTGS), and quelling. Only after these apparently unrelated processes were fully understood did it become clear that they all described the RNAi phenomenon. In 2006, Andrew Fire and Craig C. Mello shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their work on RNA interference in the nematode worm C. elegans, which they published in 1998.

What does this mean to the EMF research world?

There are more and more studies world wide piling up showing many different health effects, both good and bad, from EMF sources in our environment. One that seems to be a key to the research is RNA Interference. This process actually silences certain genes so that cells do not function properly. It is a very complex and still being understood matter but could explain one of the many health effects of the damaging effects of EMF’s.

Living near large power lines, using cell phones, and more sources are all known to affect cells in negative ways by disrupting biochemistry. If EMF’s damage DNA enough it could cause RNA Interference which would cause cells to malfunction, die off, or accelerate growth such like in cancer.

In a paper published in the January 1990 issue of Radiation Research (121. pp.38-45). Dr. Stephen Cleary reported that RF/MW radiation had pronounced effects on the DNA and RNA synthesis of glioma cells, as measured by the incorporation of thymidine and uridine-genetic building blocks.

Five days after a two-hour exposure to radio frequency and microwave (RF/MW) radiation, human brain tumor cells continued to proliferate at an abnormally high rate. At higher
levels, however, the radiation suppressed cell growth. The researchers found highly statistically significant enhancement at specific absorption rates (SARs) of 5 or 25 W/ Kg. At higher SARs, cell growth was suppressed. Essentially the same effects were obtained for exposures to unmodulated 27 MHz and 2450 MHz radiation. The cells were kept at a constant temperature during ex- posure, allowing the authors to conclude that the “effects were not induced indirectly by heating.”

This indicates that the exposure of these regularly experienced frequencies may be one of many reason that cells do not operate properly when around them. Even though this is more than likely only one of many different biological effects that have been noticed, using this knowledge to create devices to target living things could prove to be used in weaponry.  A silent yet potent device such as these may already be near your home, school, or workplace in the forms of power lines, cell phones, radio towers, and more.

This same research may help understand how we can combat the illnesses caused by them as well, but at this point the medical industry is pursuing pills from pharmaceuticals that chemically perform these gene silencing  functions.

Is there a positive effect of RNA Interference? Can it help fight cancer?

Pennsylvania State University Researchers Zero in on Small Interference RNAs (siRNAs) – NewsRX Health Articles

Investigators discuss new findings in Small Interference RNAs (siRNAs). According to news reporting from Hershey, Pennsylvania, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “CD47 is a ‘self marker’ that is usually overexpressed on the surface of cancer cells to enable them to escape immunosurveillance. Recognition of CD47 by its receptor, signal regulatory protein alpha (SIRP alpha), which is expressed in the macrophages, inhibits phagocytic destruction of cancer cells by the macrophages.”

The news correspondents obtained a quote from the research from Pennsylvania State University, “In this study, we have first shown that clinical isolates of human melanoma significantly upregulate CD47, possibly as a mechanism to defend themselves against the macrophages. We then exploited RNA interference (RNAi) technology to test the hypothesis that knocking down CD47 in the tumor cells will render them targets for macrophage destruction; hence, creating a novel anti-cancer therapy.

Anti-CD47 siRNA was encapsulated in a liposome-protamine-hyaluronic acid (LPH) nanoparticle (NP) formulation to address the challenge of targeted delivery of siRNA-based therapeutics in vivo. Efficient silencing of CD47 in tumor tissues with systemic administration of LPH(CD47) also significantly inhibited the growth of melanoma tumors. In a lung metastasis model, LPH(CD47) efficiently inhibited lung metastasis to about 27% of the untreated control. Moreover, no hematopoietic toxicity was observed in the animals that received multiple doses of LPH(CD47).” The research concluded: “Our findings indicate CD47 as a potential prognostic marker for melanoma development as well as a target for therapeutic intervention with RNAi-based nanomedicines.”

Chino Hills, CA community wins battle against California Power Company

Posted on 16 July 2013 by admin

Chino Hills will be waving bye-bye to the 200 foot electrical transmission towers erected near homes, schools and churches in the lovely bedroom community.

Yesterday the Southern California city won a long and arduous battle against utility giant Southern California Edison. A group of dedicated, committed and faithful citizens proved that the voting public still has a voice, but only as long as it is willing to put forth the effort.findcelltowersandradiotowersnearyou

After several years of legal challenges, the California Public Utilities Commission issued a final decision in the Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project, which grants the City of Chino Hills its proposal to run new electrical transmission lines underground.

Hope for the Hills, the group of Chino Hills residents created to officially fight SCE on the Tehachapi transmission towers project, demonstrated amazing strength in its battle to win back their rights and their neighborhoods.

Electromagnetic Sensitivity

Posted on 16 July 2013 by admin

What is electromagnetic sensitivity, who does it affect, and how can someone protect themselves?

The World Health Organization EMF Project states the following about EMF’s

” Electromagnetic fields of all frequencies represent one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences, about which anxiety and speculation are spreading. All populations are now exposed to varying degrees of EMF, and the levels will continue to increase as technology advances.

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity and depression
Some individuals report “hypersensitivity” to electric or magnetic fields. They ask whether aches and pains, headaches, depression, lethargy, sleeping disorders, and even convulsions and epileptic seizures could be associated with electromagnetic field exposure.

There is little scientific evidence to support the idea of electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Recent Scandinavian studies found that individuals do not show consistent reactions under properly controlled conditions of electromagnetic field exposure. Nor is there any accepted biological mechanism to explain hypersensitivity. Research on this subject is difficult because many other subjective responses may be involved, apart from direct effects of fields themselves. More studies are continuing on the subject. ”

Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland, the former head of the WHO, was a medical doctor who served as the prime minister of Norway for ten years, and led the World Health Organization from 1998 to 2003. While she was at the WHO, she banned the use of cell phones in her office because, she said, they gave her headaches. For the most part, she declined to be interviewed about her electrosensitivity. and has long been the word’s best known electrosensitive. (Read more on Dr. Brundtland at Microwave News).

Millions world-wide now believe they are at least affected mildly by electromagnetic frequencies in the same manner Dr. Brundtland mentions or by other health related factors. There are many hundreds to thousands who cannot function in our society and account for their problems from EMF sources such as cell towers, power lines, cell phones, and more.

In 2008, we provide links to two known hospitals in the world that specialize in treating people who think they may be EMF sensitive. (One in the USA and one in the UK.)

Cell Phones Links to Autism

We interviewed Dr. Rea of the Environmental Health Center of Dallas who answered the below questions and more in our article found here.

EMF SCIENCE: “At what point, and how, did the medical community determine that a problem was occurring within people biologically that lead them to decide that diagnosis and treatment was needed for problems related to electromagnetic sensitivity?”

Dr. Rea: “I didn’t know the medical community has recognized this. We look at symptoms, past history, and use several other diagnostics tests to help us determine if EMF sensitivity is a factor in their illness and presenting symptoms. However, there has been much literature dealing with animal studies and the effect of EMF on their health. I believe the EPA recognizes the impact that extreme exposure to high voltage lines can create.” Louis Slesin, of Microwave News, also has many articles dealing with the health effects of cell phones and electromagnetic fields. One overt clue to a person’s sensitivity is symptoms created in the patient by exposure to operating appliances, computers, etc.

EMF SCIENCE: “What are some of the major and common problems seen in patients that come to the EHCD for (ECT) treatments?”

DR. Rea: “We see fatigue, chemical sensitivity, headache, food and inhalant intolerances, immune problems, just a myriad of symptoms. In many instances the organ or system affected depends on medical history and environmental history of chemical or metal exposure.”

It appears that EMF’s can affect anyone of any age, race, or location where EMF’s are present. Removing yourself from a high EMF environment, eating a very healthy diet, and exercising regularly can help minimize the effects. Children and elderly are the most easily affected because they have the weakest immune systems to withstand the daily emf sources we all live with.

As usual with this subject the overall health, medical, and scientific community states we need more information to understand it better before they make an official opinion. Yet as mentioned millions continue to relate their medical problems to EMF’s while the debate continues.

Cell Phone Carriers & the FCC: Industry Insider Speaks Out

Posted on 02 June 2013 by admin

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has never levied a fine against a cell phone company for exceeding its RF exposure limits from a base station antenna.

That’s not because all of the 300,000 cell sites in the U.S. comply with the FCC rules, according to an Industry Insider with years of training and experience measuring RF radiation. He told us that he has found RF levels higher than those allowed under the FCC rules at sites across the country. The real reason there have been no fines, he said, is “because there’s collusion between the companies and the government.” The insider, an RF engineer, calls himself “EMF Expert”; he asked that his real name not be used.

“The carriers and the FCC have an extremely cozy relationship,” said the engineer. “Whenever there’s a problem, someone in the FCC’s RF safety office warns the carrier and the company then puts the ‘fire’ out.”

Over the last two years, the RF engineer and the EMR Policy Institute, based in Marshfield, VT, have identified more than 100 rooftops in 23 states where the FCC’s limits have been exceeded. Back in December 2011, the Institute described the situation to the chairman of the FCC, Julius Genachowksi, and the other commissioners. These findings are “shocking,” the leaders of the Institute wrote, and point to “a systematic pattern of non-compliance” by the country’s largest providers of cell phone service. Nothing much has changed since then.
